something new

Gosh this stuff can get addicting! So I've posted a link column to the left entitled, "Exploring" - feel free to do so. But I'm warning you ahead of time that you can get sucked in to Michelle's website very easily. FYI she took our family photos this past fall - remember how amazing they were?!! Michelle - what will we do next year when Forest turns two???
I also want to help promote a new (well, new to me) site for military wives. I wish I had found this site last year when Josh first left. I found by getting "next blog" finger happy. Very girly, very military friendly - just warm fuzzies all around!

the kiddo's? As quoted by my good friends Rick and Kari, "they better do something cute soon..." I worked Monday - usually not a big deal. BUT! After I dropped them off at the sitters (0515) they did not fall back asleep, AND did not take a nap. So, when we all got home that evening around 4pm (1600) it was screaming left and right. They seriously were taking turns. I was worried that people walking by would think something was wrong. I was beginning to think I was like the worst mom on the face of the earth. Finally, at 6pm I decided to make our way to bed, thinking I'd try to keep them quiet by reading for a while. I put Forest's pj's on first, layed him in his crib, then pj's on Anna... in the midst of that she started screaming and with big tears rolling down her cheek she pleaded, "I wanna go back to bed!!!" - Lights out, problem solved.
Until this morning - the saga continues. I'm waiting for that magic moment when they will play together, like everyone promised me they would. Ok, no one promised, but they did mention it - I remember people mentioning it. Right now I'm still the very center of Forest's world. There is something in his little brain that triggers him to cling to my leg and throw a tantrum every half an hour. Is this normal for boys? When I ask Anna to play with him, she gives me that look like... "I guess if I havta." No matter where I was today, they were there too - - - they're following me!
So, I'm hoping they will do something cute - I'll let ya know...
