Hello...

Wow... haven't had a chance to update this blog in quite some time now. There really hasn't been a whole lot of new stuff to share these days. Josh is back to work, after having July off for block leave. So, life has kept us busy getting back into the swing of things.
-----------------------------------------------
We have orders to move to another duty station at the end of September. We are headed to Ft. Polk, LA. I think it will be a nice change of pace for us. I've been told that Ft. Polk has more of a small town feel and that it's a great environment for families. We will be close to Josh's family - three hours from his parents to the north and his sister will be about the same distance to the south. I already want to plan a Thanksgiving meal at our house... but have to stop myself because I don't want to get in over my head just yet:) - Yes, I know about the bug/snake/alligator/fire ant/humidity/severe thunderstorm situations that we will be facing, but ... sigh, we'll be alright. I have always told myself that if "millions of other people have done this, then so can I."

Anna is totally, 100% potty trained - Hallelujiah! She's such a trip... now after she goes to the bathroom, she will instruct me "now I need a jaeee bean and then you say... 'I so proud of you!' O.K.!?" um... o.k. Anna... wait a minute, what just happened???
One night she even woke up at around 11:30 because she had to go - I was pretty impressed with that.

Forest is still Forest. You know, I've caught him saying things like "kank ou!" and "cup" and "mouw" (for milk) - but when you ask him to say what he wants he does everything in his power to fight you on it. He'll scrunch his nose, shake his head from side to side, and run away from the one thing he wanted simply because I've asked him to "say milk." Lord help me...
