Pudding...

So, the other day on the other website that gets all my free time I mentioned that I have continued to torture myself for some time now. This is probably mostly due to the fact that my mom raised "us kids" to understand the difference between WANT and NEED. If there was something you WANTED you hoped an prayed that you would get it for your birthday. If it was something you NEEDED you knew, with out a doubt, that you would be getting it for your birthday.
So, I'm sure you can understand the dilemma that I tend to find myself in from time to time.
Take JELLO PUDDING for example... You have no idea how many times I have found myself passing by the Jello Pudding cups in the refrigerator section of the super market telling myself, "YES, you WANT the pudding cups, but you have pudding mix at home, so NO you don't NEED the pudding cups, if you want pudding just go home and make it..."
O.K.!! I know pudding cups are cheap! But that's not the point here. And I'm pretty sure that my mom didn't raise "us kids" to deprive ourselves of pudding!! I think it's just one of those subconscious gliches that some people get hooked on. Even worse, is the fact that I (until yesterday) have yet to make the pudding that I tell myself, religiously at the grocery store, to make.
Is there something wrong with me? If you answered "YES" - I would most certainly agree with you. CRAZY! WHACKY! WOO-HOO??
But, please do not lose hope in me my friends. Because with each new insight lies this amazing potential to overcome....

...AND MAKE THE rootin' tootin' PUDDING!!
