We had lots of fun this weekend heading southish to Lake Charles, LA. We needed to go to the mall. There is one in Alexandria and one in Lake Charles. Both are about an hour away, but we've heard that Lake Charles is a bit nicer. The mall was just a typical mall. Much much smaller than the malls out in WA. Before we left town we attempted to find someplace to eat. We had gotten directions to some chain steakhouse like, Logan's or something. But, we stumbled upon Pujo St. Cafe. Yummy! I had the Shrimp Bisque and of course, Josh went for the gumbo. Anna and Forest enjoyed their fish sticks and mac-n-cheese.
Life is starting to slow down a bit now that we've accomplished our move and have unpacked, organized, re-organized, and then organized once more.
Josh is starting to work on his restoration project - his 1971,2,now a 1975 Plymouth Duster. This has been an ongoing project for him for about 13 years, but without much progress because he has been away from the car for almost ten years now. I am encouraging him to start a blog to document his endeavors.
I have been staying busy with the kids, planting flowers, meeting new people and going to the "store" (I mean Walmart.) I submitted my resume to the hospital here on post. Not sure what will come of that... I have been told that it should be easy for me to get on there, but there is always the issue of finding good child care. I guess we'll see... wish me luck!

HUGS! Great pics! I love the first one of Anna - she's so GORGEOUS!! Josh is so funny. He looks so happy in the pic with Anna. I hope he has fun working on the Duster!
