We ventured out to Alexandria, LA this past weekend for a fun filled Sunday afternoon at a Mardi Gras Parade. Things started off pretty well. We got there around 12:30... the parade didn't get to our neck of the woods until about 3:15 so there was plenty of time for the kids to get their fill of curiosity.
Anna had lots of fun playing football with the boys. I never knew she had that kind of spirit inside until that day. I was rather proud, considering that I'm from Minnesota and she was whippin' up on a bunch of Louisiana boys!!!
And she was sporting a skirt and pink tights!
