6 Months...

So, where have the past six months gone? You know, when they are just teeny tiny everyone reminds you that "enjoy this it'll go by fast," but because you're in the middle of sleep deprivation, spit-up, diapers by the hour, and recovery from birth... you tend to think, "yeah right." But, oh how it is one of the truest pieces of advice out there for parents. I promise you.

I mean, look at him... he's already got a tooth!

His eyes are captivating and welcoming. I must say that he is a fast "grower." As I mentioned above, he has a tooth, and one budding through. He's so strong... was born that way. He can sit up on his own and, when on his belly, is already tucking his head down so he can push with his toes. He's a grabber and a pincher (ouch!) I love it when he wraps his hand around my neck and pulls on me... sometimes he even opens and closes his hands in my hair, like he's playing with it.

I AM IN LOVE!

This morning we sat in bed (I had him propped up on my belly w/ his back against my knees) and he leaned in at least three or four times for me to kiss his head. And it wasn't that "wobbly I've tipped over" move, but the REAL DEAL... he'd lean in, I'd give him a kiss, and then he'd sit up and give me a warm flirty smile. Being #3 he doesn't get a ton of 1-on-1 time, but he makes the very best of it I guess.

And just when that 1-on-1 time seems to become as about as perfect as it can.... SURPRISE!

Ahhhhh... the joys of motherhood!
