I Hate Cancer...

This is true.
I knew a girl in High School - Melissa, she died from cancer when she was in the ninth grade. I remember seeing her in Geometry class and I envied her because she wasn't behind on her homework even with cancer, and I, free of any illness, couldn't (or wouldn't) "get" geometry. My Uncle Lyle died from cancer in either late 2000, or early 2001 - I want to say it was October 2000, but it was one of those moments that you don't write down on a calendar to remind yourself about. Recently a young Princess by the name of Hadley joined the ranks of angels after battling brain tumors (see the Fox Family blog link to the left.) Last summer, my Mom, SURVIVED a meeting with cancer - Thank you Jesus!!, but it is so hard not to worry...
... Christie, Sarah, Mary Anne, Pete, Rick, my Great-Grandma, Lane, - some survived, some didn't... and I could go on.

We recently found out that "Pop" - Josh's Grandpa (80) has pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his liver. Of course, "Pop" is a cheerful, full of life, 80 year old guy that can boast a heart warming chuckle just about anywhere. He's a pretty healthy guy and had no symptoms. The cancer was found prior to a surgery he needed after sustaining an injury. So here we are.

All I can say is that, I HATE CANCER - really bad. I Hate it!
