Twilight???

So, I'm about half way through Twilight. I've seen the rave on the internet, know that there was just a block buster movie about it, and a neighbor practically drilled me on how "you should really read this book, it just captivates you and it's like you can't stop - just like the Harry Potter books!!" So, I thought, what the heck... I'll check it out. I purchased it from a quaint bookstore in Natchitoches (remember pronounced NAKA - DISH) when we visited there just before Christmas.
So, (it's my favorite word) what do I think of it you might ask?? - Eeh. Yeah - just "Eeh." I don't know, maybe it's because it's sorta predictable as to what is going to happen. Maybe it's because I'm having a hard time getting my own feel for the story because I've heard so much about it - even the lady at the book store, said "Great book." It's like going to a movie that everyone has raved about, and even though you try to not have expectations and you just want to enjoy the movie for what it is, all the hype actually causes it to be a flop in your book. Or, it could just be that I'm not all into vampires that much - I don't know...
Nonetheless, I will finish the book, maybe after Chapter 10 it will become a little more enticing to me. We'll see.

Still no camera charger - oh where or where could it be!!!??? Gone, kaput, garbage, lost, gone forever!

Lately the kids have been taking a joy ride on my anxiety level. Our once perfected nap routine has completely gone haywire. This is due to a couple things of course. Bouncing back from a very flexible holiday routine, Anna is getting older (but not too old for naps yet in my book), and Forest - well, he's Forest. Either way, at the same time each day I find myself pacing in my head, "Will they nap today? Will it work? Will I get free time to blog away or read a book or take a shower or do more laundry... Will they, will they, will they???" Yes, about 90% of the time they do, but it's the other 10% that causes me to go batty... what's wrong with me?

This afternoon, it's off to "The Store" (Walmart) - I call it the store, as it is the only one in town. Hmmm... I wonder if anything interesting will happen there?

I ALMOST picked up Twilight yesterday, but I decided not to for some reason. I dunno. The hype bugs me... I'd rather wait until it's died down a bit!

Good luck with the charger!
