TCBOTB - where are you???

So, I am trying to update the blog here now that the Christmas season is over. Unfortunatley, "The Cutest Blog on the Block" is out of service for the time being so, just plain white will have to do for now. Hopefully not for long though.

The other downer is that I still haven't located my camera charger. I've looked through every bag, purse, drawer, back pack, and even forced myself to unpack that dreaded "last box" that has been shoved into the closet for the past two months. I knew it wasn't in there, but it gave a great excuse to finally tackle detested old paperwork and binders. Thanks Josh - he did most of the sorting (well... it was most of his old college papers and stuff.) The very last place I remember using my charger was on our trip, I kept it with me in the top pocket of my suitcase. So, all I'm left with is maybe Forest threw it in the garbage??? In any event, I'll keep looking and also see if I can order a new charger from Kodak. In the meantime if anybody out there has any suggestion (as random as it may be) I will look wherever you say!!!

So far the New Year has proven to be peaceful and fulfilling.
Josh has been working on his Duster, should have it running soon! I can't wait - he's been working so hard and to finally be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor will be so exciting for him. Last weekend he pulled one engine totally by himself and the following day had help from our neighbor on installing the 360. Now he has to finish wiring it, putting on the radiator and carb., and a few other things. However, now he is back to work as a new rotation started so he won't have much free time for a couple weeks.

Yesturday we had a wonderful visit with my Stepdad, Kenny - he's a trucker and was passing thru the area. Hopefully we'll get to see more of him now that we know that his trips bring it about an hour away - if he has time to make a stop that is.

It feels like spring is about to start down here. If so, I hope it lasts a long time as I'm already dreading the hot, humid, summer and it's only January!
