O.K. - sorry these aren't the greatest photos, but what is a blog post w/out a picture? MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation - for those who are not fimiliar with military acronyms - is an organization within the military that plans community events and maintains recreational getaways for soldiers and families. whew.)
Anyway, MWR and other local sponsors hosted a "Louisiana Homecoming" for all the soldiers here at Ft. Polk who recently came back from Iraq. The STAR of the show was Craig Morgan!!

So... despite the massive down pour that was taking place all day - gotta love this subtropical climate down here - we got out of the house and had a most excellent time.
