my wish

At our "coffee group" we were asked - what have we learned about ourselves, or how have we changed over this past year...
A very thought provoking question.
In all honesty, I'm not too sure how I've changed. I really think that will take some serious soul searching. But, I know I have...
This might be a little start.
1. I fear more, but am less afraid. (yes - that could happen, but by golly, don't worry about it.)
2. I am definetly more flexible - I've been bent and stretched just about every possible way; physically, emotionally, and even spiritually - but I have found that I have the power to get back to square one - many times after a tear or two, (or three hundred!!) and get on with life. God didn't put this on my plate to throw it away as scraps, he wanted me to take it all in and grow stronger.
3. "It's o.k. - to not be o.k." - thanks Josh.
4. I tried hard to not let "stress" get the best of me, even though at times it probably did. My little saying that goes along with this is, "eventually all babies fall asleep" and we all know there is nothing more peaceful than a sleeping baby.
5. One day at a time.
6. I am very thankful for my family. (this includes my "army" family and all my friends.)

So, what is my wish?
World peace? A million dollars?

No, as always, just the simple things -
Smiles, hugs, good sleep at night, and good coffee in the morning.
