So summer has FINALLY made it to WA. O.K., o.k, - we've had a good few weeks of nice weather. It's actually been warm enough out to set up the sprinkler and get out the pool. And I must admit - if using a plastic bin for a makeshift pool for your two year old is considered "red necked" - then we are soooo there!!!
No, we did get a pool, but it just took me a while. Just like everything else is taking me these days.
As mentioned above...
Anyway, as you can see from the pics; Forest totally digs the water. He'll do anything to stick his face straight into the hose or try to drink the water as it's coming out of the sprinkler... and Anna Banana; well, she hasn't learned the fun in indulging every now and then... but I'll work on her. I kept trying to hold her hand and run thru the sprinkler with her, but after she'd laugh and get all excited and worked up about it, she'd pull away and say "you do it Mommy!" I guess one of these days I'm gonna have to re-visit my youth and actually show her how it's done. There will be no photos for that!
