This is the best photo I was able to get of 2 - 23 Inf. Regt. That's the BN that Josh is specifically in.
Here Josh is with the kiddos following the ceremony. They did pretty good.
Anna really gets the hang of things. She followed my instruction on putting her hand on her heart during the National Anthem. Forest was at the movies. He devoured pretty much every possible thing he could eat, screamed and threw his juice, and was happy sitting on the grass vs. my lap. No wonder the pictures aren't the greatest!!
Overall it was a great ceremony. They had all the wounded soldiers join the ranks in the beginning, which was very neat to see - sorta emotional as well...
Now Josh is officially on block leave (vacation) so stay tuned to see what fun takes place at the Sisson house!
